Kim Yo Jong, sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, rejected Reset’s idea in relations with Seoul on Monday, despite the new South Korean President Li J. Mayung despite Dowish overtreters.
In the first official comments of North on Lee’s administration, Kim criticized what she is as Seoul’s “Blind Trust” in an alliance with Washington.
Why is Kim’s sister commenting?
Since coming to power in June, South Korean President Lee J. Mayung has broken his predecessor’s Hawkish approach to North Korea, ending the loudspeaker propaganda broadcast with Seema.
Seoul began to play a loud political message in response to North Korea’s waste -filled balloons. The balloon was asked to take domestic waste and cigarette butts to fertilizer, battery and parasites contaminated SIL.
North Korea responded with unpleasant noise with its own boundary-side broadcast, discovering siren and scraping metal in the south.
President Lee has said that he wants an old conversation with the answer without relationships at his worst level in the years under his orthodox earlier.
What did Kim Yo Jong say?
In a message in English made by the North’s official Korean Central News Agency on Monday, Kim said that South should not expect any kind of relationship.
“If stop [Republic of Korea]… expects to reverse all the consequences of (its functions) with some emotional words, there is no more miscarriage than the coz, “he said, using the official name for South Korea.
“We once again clarify the official stand that no matter whether the policy is adopted and whatever proposals are made in Seoul, we are not interested and neither [any] Neither the reason for meeting [any] The ROK should be discussed, “he said.
Along with preventing loudspeakers broadcasting, South has tried to ban civil workers from blowing balloons with a publicity sheet across the border. It has returned six North Koreans, who were swept away in wooden fishing boats months ago. The person expressed his desire to return to the north.
While Kim Yo Jong said such a step by Lee’s government, he said that it would not eventually be separated from its predecessors.
He cited the “Blind Trust” of the South in his military alliance with the US and attempted to “stand in a confrontation” with North Korea.
So Kim referred to the military exercises of the upcoming South Korea-US, which Pyongyang saw as a rehearsal for the invasion.
Kim Yo Jong is seen as his brother’s closest confidant and has played an important role in shaping his public image and policy decisions.
How much firm is North Korea’s attitude?
North Korea has continued to dismiss the conversation with Korea and the US, instead focused on terminating its nuclear weapon program as Kim Jong, along with Donald Trump, fell on sanctions during the first term of the US President in the United Nations diplomacy of the United Nations.
In response to Leigyang’s rejection of Lee’s efforts, Seed “confirmed the high -level mistrust between the two due to the years of hostile policies.”
“We take it as a sign that the North Lee is closely monitoring the North Korea policy of the Administration,” told a press briefing, a spokesman of the Ministry of South Korean Integration.
Trump, who started his second term in January, highlighted his personal coordination with Kim and said he was open to resume the conversation. So far, North Korea has not publicly responded.
Kim, particularly ordered to remove peaceful integration as a constitutional target in early 2024, labeled South Korea for the “inseparable major enemy”. The move was seen as a historic break for a long-held purpose of previous leaders of integrated Korea-ALPM on the terms of the answer.
Two Korea remained technically in war, as 1950–53 Korean ended with an aristic instead of a peace treaty.
