According to the official statement, the Nurnberg Zoo in Southern Germany killed 12 healthy guinea Babun on Tuesday.
Officials say they had no other option after they were immoral to move animals to other zoos and failed to slow down the development of the contraceptive measures.
The zoo, which was closed for “operating reasons” on Tuesday, announced the plan in February 2024, given that its contingent of Babun had become 40, but the features were originally designed for only 25 primates’ houses.
The struggle between animals had occurred more often in the area, resulting in injuries to personal bubbons.
Zoo director Dag NK said it was not possible to expand the space, nor was it leaving the animals in the wild.
Rights group reduces ‘irresponsible and unstable reproductive policies’

The German Animal Protection Association issued a statement that claimed that the zoo broke a taboo, warned that other animals could follow.

The rights groups are now asking politicians to regulate zoos and their reproductive policies more closely.
