Us Donald Trump: US President Donald Trump questioned the relations between India and Russia, calling the economy of the two countries dead and expressed displeasure over the trade deficit.

In this post, Trump also attacked Russia and described former President Dimitri Medvedev as ‘failed President’. Trump said in a warning tone, “He should curb his tongue, because he is stepping into a very dangerous area.”
What is Trump’s gesture?
Trump’s statement came at a time when America has imposed a 25 percent tariff on India. At the same time, the tension between Russia is at its peak and India is continuing to buy oil and defense equipment from Russia. Trump’s statement is considered part of his election agenda, where he is pushing the ‘America First’ policy again. However, there has been no official response to this statement from the Government of India.
Trump’s target on Indian companies
The administration of US President Donald Trump has banned six companies in India, targeting Iran’s petrochemical trade. The US State Department said that these companies have been involved in significant purchases and sales of Iranian origin petrochemical products, which is a means of raising revenue to promote Iran’s unstable activities and terrorism. A total of 20 global institutions including India, UAE, Turki and Indonesia have been included in this action. The companies of India which have been acted out include Kanchan Polymer, Alchemical Solutions, Ramnilal S. Gosalia & Company, Jupiter Die Chem Private Limited, Global Industries Chemicals Limited and Persistant Petrokem Private Limited.
