Washington: The tension between the US and Russia is once again seen reaching a dangerous turn. President Donald Trump on Friday revealed that he has ordered two atomic-capable submarines to be deployed in ‘appropriate areas’ near Russia. According to Trump, he has taken this step in response to the threats of Russian leader Dimitri Medvedev. Trump wrote on Truth Social, ‘I have ordered to send two nuclear submarines to the appropriate areas, so that if Medvedev’s statements are not just more, then we are ready.’
Why did Medvedev instigate Trump?
Russia’s security council’s deputy chairman and former President Medvedev gave Trump a direct ultimatum two days ago. He said, ‘Every ultimatum is a step towards war with America. Russia is not Israel or Iran which will remain silent. Trump should not become like ‘Sleepi Joe’ (Biden). This response came after Trump’s statement in which he gave Russia only 10 days to stop the Ukraine war. Earlier, he had given a 50 -day deadline, but now it has been reduced to 10 days.

Trump reacted sharply to Medvedev’s statement and said, ‘Tell him to curb his tongue. He still considers himself President. He is running on dangerous land. Along with this, Trump also targeted India and said that India’s tariffs are the highest in the world and that is why America has reduced business with it. He taunted and said, ‘I don’t mind what India and Russia do together. They should immerse their dying economies, I don’t care.
