It’s one the less nown chapters of wwii: the nazis’ racially-based massacre of anywher between a quarter and half a million roma on top of the more than million jews killed in the holocaust. Roma Victim were also subjected to internement, forced labour, deportation and mass execution, though the day to having the genocide against the community recognized as such has been more complicated.
