Two years after his relationship with Qatar Airways amid fan protests, Bavaria Munich has signed a new partnership with the United Arab Emirates ownership and the airline runaway.
The agreement announced on Wednesday, is similar to a football club, with the tourist board of the African country, Rwanda, and will include Bayern with Pichcide Advertisement, “Combined activity on social and digital channels of both companies”. Unlike her deal with Rwanda, German champions do not have any minerals of any football academy in the United Arab Emirates.
Emirates, who reportedly missed the shirt sponsorship of Bayern, is a family appearance in football. The airline has various prominence deals with Arsenal, Real Madrid and Leone, and among others, sponsor the oldest national cup competition in English FA Cup, football. So he has deals in many other sports and was a shirt sponsor for Hamburg in the first Bundesleiga.
‘I am ashamed of Bayern’
Michael Oat, a German lawyer, who led a fan protest against Qatar Airways sponsorship, is disappointed that history is repeating itself.
“It’s misleading, but in the end, it was probably given that my belief was that the Qatar deal was not eliminated thanks to the change in the mindset of the Bayern Officers, but because Qatar did not want to continue now.
“Now they are actually working properly once again. With the difference that the position of migrant workers in the UAE is probably worse than Qatar,” he told DW. “It is impossible to justify the advertising contract for a company belonging to such a state. I feel ashamed to Bayern.”
A 2024 report by Amnesty International said that the country is made up of seven Emirates including Dubai, which “criminalization of freedom of expression and peaceful assembly.” It said that “strong economic relations with Israel amidst armed struggle in Gaza” and “use of prolonged solitary imprisonment against prisoners in a collective case of forced and punishment.”
Michael Deederich, Vice President of Bavaria, talked about the financial benefit of the deal, thought about the price of € 5 million ($ 5.8 million) annually to the club, who recently spent € 70 million from Liverpool to signing Colombian forward Luis Diaz from Liverpool.

A family of partners, including long -term deals with German firms Adidas, Alliance and Audi, who holds a stake in the club. The Emirates now visit Rwanda at the bottom of the betting site Betano, Crypto platform Bitpanda in the “Platinum” Tier and among others.
