If Ratan Tata, the former president of the Tata group, was alive, the airline company would not delay in compensation to the families of the victims killed in the Air India aircraft accident. American Attorney Mike Andrews, who advocated more than 65 families affected by the Ahmedabad aircraft accident, criticized Air India for delaying compensation to the families of the victims and said that the victims do not have to face such “bureaucratic process” for compensation with Ratan Tata.

Andrews spoke to ANI on Sunday and emphasized that Ratan Tata’s way of working and humility could have prevented such obstacles faced by the families immersed in mourning. He said, “Even in America, we know who Ratan Tata was. We know a little bit about his working style in America and his attention on taking care of our employees, so we know that if he was here today, we do not think that employees, victims and people on the aircraft and land have to face such bureaucracy process in which they had to delay in payment.”

The plane fell victim to an accident soon after flying
More than 65 families filed a petition against Air India and aircraft manufacturer Boeing in the US Federal Court through US -based law firm Baslie Alan. Aviation Attorney Mike Andrews of Baslie Alan took the matter and visited the accident site in Meghaninagar area of Ahmedabad. On July 26, Air India has released Rs 25 lakh as interim compensation to families of 147 out of 229 passengers killed in the accident and 19 other passengers killed on the ground. On June 12, Air India flight number AI171, Boeing 787-8 aircraft, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel of Ahmedabad crashed immediately after flying from the International Airport, killing 260 people, including 229 passengers, 12 crew members and 19 people.
