Bundestag turns to Tiktok to attach the youth
The lower parliament, Bundestag of Germany, joining Tiktok in an attempt to reach the small audience, is increasing their social media appearance.
“If you ask the youth where they get their news, it is Tiktok,” Bundestag President Julia Clocaner told the DPA news agency.
Accepting concerns on Tikok, he said that it would be patriotic not to use the platform for information about parliamentary work to use the platform.
Tiktok is investigating in Europe how it stores and processed the data of European users, especially about the possible transfer for China.
Despite those concerns, the German Chancellor, politicians and many political parties have the presence on the platform.
The Bundestag already has appearance on many other social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Bluuski.
