All sales channels contributed to this increase, with the wholesale area growing particularly strongly with 36.8 %. In Europe, the regions of Northwest (58.4 %) and northeast (36.6 %) as well as Iberia and Italy (28.8 %) recorded significant growth.
All product categories developed profitably, especially sports style (+52.9 %) and core performance sport (+40.6 %). In the premium performance running segment, ASICS remained the market leader in Europe and was also able to expand market shares in the tennis, indoor and paddle area as well as in the sports style segment.
