43 people arrested
On Tuesday night, 1,450 local and Federal officials together arrested 43 people. Most of them were traffic violations or small cases. DC Council member Christina Henderson described it as ‘simple Saturday night’ and called Trump’s move as ‘drama’.
On Wednesday, Homeland Security, Drug Information Administration (DEA) and FBI agents appeared in different areas of the city. National Guard personnel are also ready and their deployment is going to increase further from Thursday.

Trump can control Washington DC
Unlike other states and cities of America, Trump can take the Washington Police under his control for 30 days. If he wants control over Washington for a long time, then the approval of the Congress will be required for this. Trump’s plan is not limited to policing.
He has also announced to remove the camp of homeless people. The US Park Police has removed dozens of tents since March and is preparing to remove two more camps this week. The homeless people are being given the option of going to the shelter or drug addiction, but the fine or the sword of the jail is hanging on those who refuse.
