America congratulated both Pakistan and India on independence, but the difference between the messageAmerica gave congratulatory messages to both India and Pakistan.
India is receiving congratulations from all over the world on the occasion of 79th Independence Day. The Embassy of Israel congratulated him by writing a message in Hindi. At the same time, America has congratulated India despite the tariff controversy. Just a day before this, Pakistan also congratulated Pakistan on independence. Congratulations to the two countries by External Affairs Minister Marco Rubio on behalf of America. America’s message is drawing the most attention. Interestingly, the US congratulated both India and Pakistan on Independence Day, but there was a difference of land and sky between accents and priorities. Let’s understand

America’s message for Pakistan

On August 14, on Pakistan’s Independence Day, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio wrote-

‘On behalf of America, I heartily congratulate the people of Pakistan on the occasion of their Independence Day on 14 August. America deeply appreciates anti-terrorism efforts and Pakistan’s participation in business. We are eager to find new areas of economic cooperation, including rare minerals and hydrocarbons and increase strong business partnership, which will form the basis of a rich future for Americans and Pakistanis.

What message did America send to India

In his message sent to India on the US State Department website, Marco Rubio wrote-

‘On behalf of America, I congratulate the people of India on August 15 on their Independence Day. The historical relationship between the world’s largest democracy (India) and the oldest democracy (America) is very important and far to affect. Both our countries are associated with a shared dream of a peaceful, prosperous and safe Indian region. Our partnership works in industries, promotes new innovations, moves forward in important and emerging techniques, and extends to space. Working together, America and India will face today’s challenges and will ensure bright future for both countries.

What is America saying?

There is no difference between the number of words in the message sent by America to India and Pakistan. Rather, the difference between the accents and priorities of words is clear. On reading both messages together, it is clear that America is not only congratulating India, but is also sending a strategic signal. Rubio has described India as the largest democracy in the world in its message. In the Indian message, words such as ‘important and far-reaching relations’, Hind-Pacific security, emerging technology, and space cooperation show trying to present India as a big partner in future.

At the same time, the message of Pakistan is mostly limited to the current economic-security cooperation and formal praise. In which it is an indication that America is only focusing on practical benefits and immediate issues, not long -term strategic investment. The message mentions things that America can benefit from Pakistan, such as rare minerals, hydrocarbons.
