On Friday, US District Judge Ana Reyes noticed that the Trump administration could not legally occupy the police of the city, but the law probably gives the President more power than the city.

“The way I read the law, the President can ask, the Mayor will have to provide, but cannot control the contemporary,” Rayes said.

Stressful relationship between Trump and DC

Earlier this week, Trump deployed hundreds of national guard soldiers in Washington as a crime. He called it “Mukti Day” and claimed that the city needs to protect the city from “crime, bloodshed, badge and squall”.

Before the order, Trump expanded the scope of its acquisition of the city’s law enforcement agencies and brought the police department under the control of the federal government.

The trial filed by DC Attorney General Brian Shwalab blocked the acquisition of a court order as illegal.

The two sides entered the court for hours on Friday, before Rayes insisted that they signed an agreement.

The move to handle the police of the capital is Trump’s latest attempt to test the limits of his legal authorities.
