Trump-Putin Meeting Live: After meeting Putin in Alaska in Alaska, the Trump administration has prepared a new plan for Ukraine. Under this, Ukraine will not be included in the NATO but the same security guarantee can be given.

Article 5 of NATO clearly states that the attack on one member will be considered as an attack on the entire alliance. Russia has been strongly opposed to implementing this rule on Ukraine.
Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni confirmed that Trump presented the idea. He said that this scheme is inspired by the rules of NATO, but entering the war will not be a compulsory part of it. This will be more political and strategic commitment, so that Russia remains under pressure.
After the Alaska summit, leaders from Germany, France, Britain and Italy issued a joint statement. It said that safety of Ukraine’s sovereignty is necessary and for this ‘IronClad’ should be guaranteed. The statement also reiterated that the ban and economic pressure on Russia continue until the war ends.
