Professor Lares said that India may be satisfied with the results of this meeting at the moment. European Union’s stance will be weak

Indo-US relations damage due to tariff
Eric Burakowski, Associate Director of Russia and Eurasia Program at Fletcher School at Tufts University, believed that Trump could still maintain an option to increase economic pressure on Russia. He warned, “The 25 percent of the 25 percent tariff imposed on India is an important issue and a big loss for the US-India relations. Therefore, we can see the softening of the Trump administration towards India, but I do not think it will stop completely and it will depend to some extent on how the conversation moves forward. Burakovski described the meeting that was a Putin-Trump Manatija meeting as historic.
He said that Putin had stepped on American soil for the first time in 10 years. Perhaps this is a sign of a kind of change in America-Russia relations, despite continuous mistrust.
