Hurricane Erin: Hurricane Erin set a record in the Atlantic Ocean. In 24 hours, it reached the category-1 to category-5. Its speed was 257 km/h. Warning of flash flood issued in Puerto Rico.

Experts say that the reason for this is the ‘ivol replacement cycle’, in which the size of the storm increases rapidly and its effect becomes more dangerous. Till Saturday evening, Erin Puerto was about 241 km north-east from Rico and 257 km north-west from Angwal. A flash flood warning has been issued in the Northern Puerto Rico, while Turks & Cacos and Leward Islands have tropical store watch in force.
America released warning
The American National Hurricane Center (NHC) has warned that the size of Erin may be doubled or tripled next week. This can create dangerous waves and repairs on the Atlantic coasts of Bahamas, the eastern coast of the US and the Atlantic coasts of Canada. In view of the situation, the American Coast Guard has closed many ports of Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands. Experts say that Erin’s speed and strength are related to global warming. The storms are now becoming increasingly strong due to warm sea surface and changing weather patterns.
Fastly strong storms
In the last few years, the incidents of ‘rapid intensification’, the sudden storms of storms have increased. So far, only 43 category-5 storms have been recorded in Atlantic, in which Erin is also one. Since 2016, the category-5 storm has been seen 11 times so far. This number further clarifies the effect of climate change. However, this storm does not cause great destruction, because it will not hit any big land. Will roam away from America and Bermuda in Atlantic. But despite this, there is a threat of rain, strong winds, high waves rising in the sea and floods. Some areas may receive 2 to 4 inches of rain.
