West Virginia Governor Patrick Morris announced on Saturday that he was deploying 300 to 400 National Guard soldiers in Washington.

“West Virginia is proud to stand with President Trump in his attempt to restore pride and beauty in the capital of our country,” Morrisi said in a statement.

The deployment is part of the Trump administration’s crime and attempt to tighten the homeless.

Major General James Sevard, Advisory General of West Virginia, said that the state’s National Guard members “are ready to support our colleagues in the National Capital Region and contribute to the collective efforts to create a clean and safe environment for our capital.”

What has US states deploy National Guard soldiers?

In addition to Morrisi, two other Republican Governor is singing the national guard soldiers of their states in the country’s capital to support the efforts of Trump.

Henry McMaster, Governor of South Carolina, authorized the deployment of 200 out of his state’s National Guardman.

McMaster wrote on X, “Our National Guard works to assist President Trump’s mission, and a storm or natural disaster should be threatened to our kingdom, the house will be remembered to immediately respond to them.”

Meanwhile, Ohio’s Governor Mike Dewin announced that his state would deploy 150 military police. “None of the thesis military police member has a region as law enforcement officers in the state,” Devin said in a statement.

Protest against the deployment of Trump’s National Guard soldiers

Announcements come as the protesters pushed back the federal law enforcement in Washington, DC and the increasing presence of National Guard soldiers.

In a letter to the residents of the city, Mayor Muril Boser, a Democrat, has written that “Our limited self-government has never faced the test that we are now facing.”

He called Washington’s residents to live together, “We will show the entry nation what he looks like to fight for US democracy – still when we do not have access to it.”

On Monday, Trump kept the DC of the Metropolitan Police Department of Washington under federal control. He declared emergency due to “the city government’s failure to maintain public system”.

“Crime is out of control in Colombia district. (…) The magnitude of violent crime crisis keeps Columbia district among the most violent courts in the United States, according to” Official statement of the White House.

However, on Friday, the Trump administration withdrew its previous decision and agreed to let Washington go, DC Police Chief Police Force remained in charge of the order of the Aft Effr Court.
