In their new function as Artistic Director, SZA will work closely with vans in the future to design creative campaigns and to develop exclusive product collections. The aim of the cooperation is to focus on aspects such as individuality, creativity and community and to combine them with Vans’s understanding of brands.
At the center of the partnership is a common artistic vision, which is reflected in a newly developed fire anthem and a first campaign. This is dedicated to the topic of personal development and expressiveness through style, art and self -reflection. The focus is on SZA’s preferred model from the Vans range-the Knu Skool in black and white-, a reinterpretation of the classic old skool from the late 1990s. The campaign was visually implemented by Sophie Jones and styled by Alejandra Hernandez.
As a multi -award -winning artist, SZA brings extensive experience and a wide audience into the collaboration. Your debut album CTRL and the successor SOS achieved international chart placements and multiple platinum status. In addition to several Grammy awards, SZA was nominated for the Academy Award and the Golden Globe. In 2025 she also celebrated her acting debut in a film that reached number 1 on the US cinema charts.
