Binance, the main cryptocurrency exchange platform by volume of operations, announced the launch of a Beta phase chrome extension for its Wallet Binance, designed to optimize interaction with decentralized applications (DAPPS) on the web3 from the desktop browser.
According to the Exchange In a statementChrome’s extension in its beta version allows users to connect their Wallet Binance to DAPPS, manage cryptoactive and perform operations in compatible networks, such as Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain, from a browser environment.


With this launch, Binance Wallet has a version similar to the traditional Metamask web purse.
As cryptootics reported, Binance Wallet uses a model of Multipartite computing (MPC)where the private key is fragmented. One of those fragments is protected by Binance, which implies that users They have no total control over their keys, limiting self -ocustody.
This approach, although sure and efficient for certain use cases, differs from the traditional Bitcoin wallets where the user is the only custodian of his assets.
Cryptonotics reported at the end of July that Binance Wallet premiered a web version for the Exchange, allowing to operate from the traditional interface without depending on the mobile application.
