Radhika Gupta, MD and CEO of Edelweiss Mutual Fund, has given a message to Indian students to return to India due to increasing H-1B visa fees. He said that many Indians were disappointed in the 2008 recession, but later returned to India and made a better career.

Gupta wrote on the social media platform X that the H-1B rules were easy when he graduated in 2005. But the 2008 economic recession changed the atmosphere. Many Indian students were stranded there, while many eventually returned to India. He said that those who tried to stay in America, also returned to India later and got better opportunities here.
