The application will have to contribute US $ 1 million (Rs 8.8 crore). This amount is given as a ‘gift’ and it can be used to benefit the investment, society or economy in America. The application process is easy. First of all, the applicant will have to pay non-refundable processing fees. Subsequently, a detailed background will be checked by US citizenship and immigration services (USCIS). After submission of all the required documents on time, if the application is approved, the contribution of $ 1 million is mandatory.
