Life in some parts of the Philippines was interrupted on Monday as the authorities suspended the work and families took shelter in the withdrawal centers before the landing of Super Typhoon Ragasa in North Luzon.
For the National Weather Service, winds up to 215 kmph (134 mph) and gust up to 265 kmph were recorded as 8 in local time (0000 GMT).
Typhoon warning for Babuyan Island
Authorities have warned of heavy floods, landlines and comprehensive power outage. The coastal and lower-fledged AEAS were withdrawn, and dozens of domestic flights and boating services were canceled.
Schools and government offices were closed in Manila region and 29 Philippine provinces.
The highest typhoon warning was provoked for remote Babuyan Islands, where Ragasa is expected to make landfalls around noon. The authorities urged the residents to vacate the high land.
The AFP news agency said, “Now we are experiencing strong winds here in North Kagayan.” He said that he was ready for “worst”.
Hong Kong to stop all passenger flights
Ragasa, which is one of the strongest storms to hit the region over the years, is expected to cross the Luzon Strait towards southern China.
Local fire department official James Wu told AFP that Taiwan has issued land and maritime warnings, canceled flights to eastern cities, and started small -scale withdrawal in mountainous areas.
Bloomberg News reported that Moth is scattered for Hong Kong Ragasa and is planning all passers -by for 36 hours starting on Tuesday.
The report said that all flights can be suspended as Typhoon Ragasa Advance from 6 am to 6 am on Tuesday evening to 6 am on Tuesday.
