A person guilty of attempt to murder Trump – DW – 09/23/2025

A man who was accused of attempting to kill US President Donald Trump is convicted in the federal court on Tuesday.

Ryan R.*, 59, was found guilty of attempting to kill Trump, who was then a Republican candidate and a former US President.

After a 12-day test at the Federal Court at Fort Pierce, Florida, the jury found that the defendant had pointed to a rifle in Trump and intended to kill him while playing golf.

The person who requested not to be guilty and defended Himal in the court, who was found guilty in all cases, including trying to kill a chief presidential candidate, attacking a federal officer, allegations related to the possession of the firearm.

Shortly after the convict’s decision, the man tried to stab Herlf with a pen in the neck, before the authorities stopped him and thrown him out of the course.

The defendant wants to be sent on 18 December, the judge announced. He faces maximum punishment of life in jail,

During the trial, the witnesses told the court that the defendant had run away without firing a bullet, when he was seen by the American Secret Service agents, patrolling at the Trump International Golf Club in the West Palm Beach.

The suspect ran into a black SUV and later expanded by local law enforcement to the nearby Martin County.

The secret service agent, who was the president and the presidential candidate and other dignitaries, when he fired shots in the suspect, was scouting in front of Trump on a security sweep.
