Nasa Parker Solar Probe Speed: NASA’s Parker Solar Probe Spacecraft has set a new record of speed. It flew at a speed of more than 6,87,000 kilometers per hour near the Sun.

6,87,000 km/hr: speed of speed
Why this mission of NASA is special
- The Parker Solar Probe was launched at 2018. Its purpose is to understand the secrets of the sun directly. While passing through the corona of the sun, this vehicle sends data of events like Solar wind, flares and coronal mass eduction. The same incidents make ‘Space Weather’ which also affect the earth.
- Space weather can cause satellites to deteriorate, power grids may come to a standstill and the safety of astronauts may be in danger. Therefore, scientists believe that every signal of Parker is making our future safe.
- Four scientific equipment of Parker is constantly measuring the energy coming out of the surface of the sun. The special thing is that Suraj is in the active phase of his 11 -year bicycle these days. That is, bang solar flares and strong winds are being seen more. In such a situation, the data of the parker is even more important.
Parker is now preparing for its next stop even after 2026. NASA says that from 23 September 2025, the detail science data of this encounter will start getting on the earth. This information will not only help scientists to understand the strength of the sun, but will also make the future missions on the moon and Mars safe.
