US President Donald Trump on Monday announced the new health guidelines on vaccines and made a blessless claim that the use of acetaminophen known as Tilanol in the US during pregnancy was associated with autism.
Trump said the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) would inform doctors that “Use of acetaminophen may be” with the risk of autism, without providing any medical evidence for new recommendations.
What are Trump and RFK views on autism?
The new guidelines and push to highlight the roots of autism have been aimed by Health Secretary Robert Kennedy JR (RFK). All this is in the form of RFK and Trump vowed to give the slogan to the country’s health agencies, “Make America healthy again.”

Tylinol’s original company Kenavuy said in a statement that it is “strongly disagree with Trump’s comments, saying that” the sound science clearly shows that taking acetaminophen does not cause autism. “
The company highlighted scientific reviews by several government regulators worldwide, which was published earlier by the FDA.
