Ukraine President Volodimir Jailonsky made serious allegations against Russia from the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) stage in New York. He said that ceasefire is not possible in Ukraine because Russia is not ready for it. According to Jailonsky, Moscow is not only kidnapping children but is also trying to destabilize Europe and destroy the civil structure. Jailonsky questioned the world leaders, ‘When will we be able to bring our children home?’ He said that Ukrainian people want peace, but Russia is attacking again and again.

The Ukrainian President warned that the Russian attacks are not limited to Ukraine only. Recently 19 Russian drones entered the Poland border, out of which only four could be killed. Similarly, Estonia also had to call a meeting of the United Nations Security Council for the first time. Zelansky said- ‘Being part of a big military alliance like NATO is also not a guarantee of security.’ Zelansky revealed that Russia also opened fire near nuclear plants, which threatened the whole world. He said that international institutions are so weak that this ‘madness’ continues.

Moldova is under threat

In his address, Jailonski warned that if Europe did not take concrete steps, Moldova could also be occupied by Russia. He said- ‘We lost Georgia, Belarus has also bowed towards Russia. Now Europe cannot lose Moldova. He appealed to the European Union to provide energy and financial assistance to Moldova.

Who will survive the weapons

Speaking of peace and security, Jailonsky claimed that peace does not determine international law but weapons. Jailonsky said, ‘You also want as much security and peace as we want (Ukraine) today. No one can give security guarantee. Only strong alliance, only strong partner and only our own weapons… is not very different from the 21st century past. If a nation wants peace, then it still will have to work on weapons. No international law, not cooperation- but weapons decide who will survive.

He further said, ‘No one international institution came to light in stopping what happened in Palestine, Somalia and Sudan, so that any attack can actually be stopped.’ He then mentioned the Russia-Ukraine Jung. He said, ‘Russia’s war against my country is going on, people are dying every week, yet the ceasefire is not happening.’
