Denmark security officials said on Saturday that new drone vision was reported at Denmark’s largest military base.
Broadcaster Dr, citing the armed forces, said that unidified drones were seen near military establishment.
What do we know about the latest drone vision?
The Danish armed forces stopped identifying the exact location of the scene of the drone.
But the French AFP news agency and the Ritzou news agency quoted the police, saying that the mainstay of the Royal Danish Air Force was seen on the taxup air base in Western Denmark.
“I can confirm that we had an incident around 8:15 pm (1815 GMT Friday) for a few hours. One to two drones were seen outside and above the airbase,” Duty Officer Simon Schgeler told AFP.
Skelsjaer said that the police cannot comment on where the drone came from, saying that the police was cooperating with the army in its investigation.
“We didn’t take them down,” the officer said about the drone.
Taxes shares their runways with the base midtziland Civilian Airport. Skelsjaer said that the latter was later closed due to being seen, but no impact was made in that hour as any business flights.
Copenhagen called the drone view ‘hybrid attack’
The vision is the latest in a chain that has temporarily caused the Nordic country to close several airports as it is called “hybrid attack” by Prime Minister Mette Fredericseen.
Commenting on drones at Copenhagen Airport earlier this week, Fredericseen designed him as “the most serious attack on Danish important infrastructure”.
Drone incidents followed the similar incidents in Poland and Romania and violations of Estonian airspace by Russian fighter jets, which have increased tension between the ongoing full -scale invasion of Russia’s Ukraine.
