Prior to the parliamentary elections on 28 September, DW asked some local people to a large -scale supporter Russian autonomous regional unit Gagaujia how they see their future.

In the early 1990s, the territory of Gagaauzia made a push for independence, which ended when the Moldovan government gave it widespread autonomy in 1994.

The Central Election Commission of Moldova excluded Russia’s party Greater Moldova (Moldova mare) when he participated in Sunday’s parliamentary vote.
