Military court has sentenced to death
“In implementing Article 7 of the Military Penal Code, it applies a single sentence, namely one, which is the most serious one, which is the death penalty,” said Lieutenant-General Joseph Mutbobo Katley, who presided over the Tribunal in Kinshsa.
Kabila was ordered to pay $ 33 billion (€ 28 billion) to the state and north and east provinces of South Kivu.
The M23 militia captured a large part of these provinces this year and established their own administration there.
Kabila was accused of supporting Rwanda -backed M33 rebels with President Felix Tskedi of supporting the armed group.
Kabila was accused of supporting the M23 rebels supported by Rwanda. The current Chairman of DRC, Felix TessekD said the clan was the mastermind behind the armed group.
For 18 years, Dr. Kabila, who led the Congo, denied the allegations and called the Teskedi government a “dictatorship”.
In late May, Kabila created a letter appearance in the rebel-accepted eastern Congo, where he tried to mediate peace, a step that was not well down with Kindsa.
Kabila ruled the country between 2001 and 2019 and took power after the murder of her father Laurent-Dasair Kabila.
The designer leader has spent most of his exile in South Africa, although his current hideouts are not clear.
