“We want to enter the discussion with the city district with the goal of naming a major road or class after Helmut Kohl.” This uncontrolled sentence appears in the coalition agreement, which was signed by Center-Dan Christian Democrats (CDU) and Center-Left Social Democrats (SPD), who have been in the city-state of Berlin on April 2023.
Now, two and a half years later, Berlin Mayor Kai Wagner (CDU) has announced an exact location in the German capital, where Helmut Kohl (CDU), who served as a federal Chancellor from 1982 to 1998, is to be honored: Hofzgerly in Central. “This is a large road for a powerful man, which we make a great deal,” said Veger, which is now going on.
Kohl, who died in 2017 at the age of 87, is considered a major architect of the German Reunion on 3 October 1990. Berlin, divided by a wall since 1961, once again became the capital of Germany. And on the third anniversary of the collapse of the Berlin wall, Helmut Kohl was awarded the honorary citizenship of Berlin for his achievements.
A tarnished reputation
However, Berlin still lacked a public performance for politicians. One of the main reasons for this may be that in 1999, there may be a dark shadow cast on Kohl’s political career: the revelations about the illegal CDU donation scam, for which the iceberg was very responsible. According to criminal investigation and media reports, the party had been holding a Slush fund in Switzerland at least 1980s.
After denying the allegations, Kohl admitted him to a large extent and took political responsibility for the mistakes made in the Finance of the CDU during his tenure in the office. He admitted to accept what is equivalent to € 1.1 million ($ 1.3 million) in the Undis shut down today and hence illegal party donations which were not recorded in their party’s accounts. The 67-meter high in the middle of the square is the 19th-centered victory column, which is crowned by a guild statue in Victoria.
It is one of the most important national monuments in Germany and recalls the so -called wars of integration, which led to the establishment of the German Empire in 1871. And there is a lot of history of four multi-lane roads going away from the Vijay Pillar. This is especially true when looking at the east: This is the place where the Brandenberg Gate is standing, the most important symbol of the German reunion.
Any person growing a few hundred meters ahead with Helmut Kohl Avenue, which soon a few hundred meters ahead, would come to the International Embassy as well as the CDU party headquarters, named the first German Chanmanyar, Konrad Adenor. The possibility of Kohl Live would also be pleased with him.
