The chairman of the check and the former head of the general employees of the Czech Armed Forces are Petra Pavel, a level of the main person with strong nerves.
Nevertheless, he is never emotional in his ability as the head of the state, he feels that the Czech was very deep about the situation of democracy in the Republic.
He spoke to the nation for less than three days on Tuesday evening before the poll was revealed in the Parliamentary elections of Czechia. His address was broadcast live by several check media outlets.
The President said, “I must strongly reject the words of some politicians that are to change the system this year,” the President said, “Our democratic system is inherent in the Constitution.”
More than normal at stake
Pavel said that the country “needs a government that will protect our sovereign within the community of democratic nations and will not leave us to its efforts to restore the mercy of Russia and the area of influence in Central and Eastern Europe.”
The President’s address revealed that this year’s parliamentary elections are at stake than normal, which will take place on October 3 and 4.
For the last four years, the country has been ruled by a liberal conservative coalition under the leadership of Prime Minister Petra Fiala. Although there is no failure, this government was certainly not very popular, either, because it was in all Ukraine with a major financial decline from Kovid -19 epidemic and Russia.
Power change in card?
Everything indicates changing the guards at the government level.
The country is expected to move towards right-wing populistism and all those who come with: Euroscoptisism, Pro-Ukrainian posts, and agitation against refugees, LGBTQ+ community and green policies.
Among the undisputed forerunners going to the election is the Annie party of the right-wing local east-east and billionaire Andrej Babis. Ano is a brief for the word check for both “disgruntled citizens” and “yes”.
While ANO is currently voting between 28% to 30%, the ruling Liberal Conservative Alliance Spolu (together), which is made from three central parties, is predicted to get 22% of the votes.
The Liberal Conservative Mayors and Independents (Stan) party, which is part of the ruling coalition, is voting between 10% to 12%.
Other aspects that are excluded to enter Parliament including the Green-Liberal Czech Pirate Party (7%-9%), which is part of the alliance until last year, and three extremist opposition parties: The for-Right Freedom and Direct Democracy Party (SPD, 13%-14%), The Pro-Rasian Communist Elasses Stacillo! ,
Comprehensive dissatisfaction faction
Together with Poland, the Czech Republic is the most successful economy in Central Europe.
Since the fall of communism in 1989, it did not have significant time like those in Poland, Slovakia or Hungary – not even during four years when the Andrez Babis and his ANO party in the first government (2017-2021), when Babis was less populated than now.
Since then, however, shifting geophysical tectonic plates as an all-out of Russia was in Ukraine and the toxic effect of Kremlin also has a major impact on Chechia.
As a result of Russia in Ukraine, the Czech Republic was influenced by a shock of energy value and inflation of up to 15%in 2022 and 2023. Despite the support from the state, it hit many people – especially pensioners – very difficult.
The economic situation began to settle in the late 2024, inflation declined significantly, the economy was growing, and really growing. Nevertheless, the Dysatis faction with Fiala’s government is high and wider.
Supporter-Russian, anti-Ukrainian stories
Russian supporters and anti -Ukrainian propaganda of opposition politicians, including ANO leader Andrez Babis, have made so much contradiction for this mood.
The Czech Republic is one of the Stoshest supporters of Ukraine, and Petra Fiala was one of the first heads of the government to travel to Kiev in March 2022.
In terms of its population (about 10.9 million), Czechia took a record number of Ukrainian refugees (about 660,000). It is estimated that 400,000 remain calm in the country.
The Andrez Babis and other right -wing populist and extremists placed gymnastics in a legend that the Fiala government cares more about Ukraine and Ukrainian about checks.
Babis has accused Fiala of “dreams of war with Russia”. Are He called for Ukraine to stop a stop for military support, ban aid for refugees, and “appropriate” relationship with Russia.
‘Government of national betrayal’
In view of all this, government parties have greeted the Czech foreign policy and relations with Russia in decisive issues in this campaign.
Prime Minister Fiala recently said that if Andrez Babis is elected, Chechia will get a “government of national betrayal”.
Some observers see this danger as real: “One of Putin’s dreams may be felt soon,” Czech National Daily Newspaper has written by Petra Honzek Hosodarske Novini“Should AO come to power – whether it is in itself or with the cooperation of SPD, Stasyil! Or motorists – our country will stop its defense against Russian disintegration and hybrid attacks.”
Other observers accused “horror” of focusing too much, or not enough on domestic and economic issues.
Writing in the same newspaper, the columnist Jan Kubita suggested that the government politician should study the works of the most recent Nobel Prize winners. “Then they will probably understand that the condition for long -term development and prosperity of a state lies in the improvement of IT institutions.”
And in fact, many checks are very sad about public infrastructure conditions, dull state institution, bureaucracy and very slow digitization.
President Czechia is not a ‘savior’
For years, Andrez Babis has been promising to change all this and make the state more efficient. When he was loaded in the office, however, he did almost no one.
This time, he is promising more support for high pension and needy along with low taxes, energy prices and real estate prices. Hey, however, it is not known how he intends to pay for all this without increasing the National Deb.
President Pavel, who plays an important role in the formation of a government, indicated an FEK a week ago that he could not be under certain circumstances, nominating Babi for the post of Prime Minister.
During his address to the nation on Tuesday evening, however, he warned that he should not be as “Savior of Chetchia”.
“The president is not, and may not be, the last measure that will reverse the election results for one side, or save it for another,” he said.
Addressing the voters directly, he clearly and peacefully said: “You will decide.”
