US President Donald Trump is claiming to have peace all over the world. But the real ruckus is in their own country. On Saturday, tension in the city of Chicago, USA, increased even more when a woman was shot by the US border petrol agents. The incident took place in the city’s Briton Park area. It is being told that the woman herself reached the hospital driving the car and was released after treatment. This is a second firing incident in Federal agents in Chicago after the start of Operation Midway Blitz, the new immigration campaign of Trump administration.

Homeland Security Department spokesman Trichia McLachalin said that about 10 cars hit and surrounded the agents, after which firing took place. He claims that the woman had a semi-automatic weapon, so the agents ‘had to shoot for rescue’. After the incident, about 100 protesters gathered on the spot. There was a clash between the crowd and the agents, using tier gas and paper balls. People raised slogans of ‘Ice Go Home’ and some protesters were detained.

White House sent 300 national guards

When the situation worsened, the White House decided to increase the pressure instead of handling it in a peaceful manner. On Saturday evening, the White House reported that 300 National Guard soldiers will be sent to Chicago, although Illinoid Governor J.B. Pritjkar has opposed this decision. Local leaders say that the presence of federal agents has increased more tension. Chicago councilor Julia Ramirez said that ‘Federal agents are deliberately provoking people. This situation is spoiling, not calming.

What to say about eyewitnesses

A man named Nari working at the gas station said that he heard three bullets. He got out and saw that the ICE agent is standing on the road. By noon, the protesters took to the streets. There were clashes in many places and some people were caught by the agents on the ground. In response to this, American Attorney Andrew Bautrose said that attacks on federal agents and government property would not be tolerated. Senior officials of FBI and ICE have also warned about violence and chaos.
