Several people were injured after a man opened fire in a market in a town in central Germany on Saturday, according to local media reports.
The city, Giessen, is located in the state of Hesse, the state public broadcaster reported, adding that the culprit is still on the run.
According to police, the market square has been cordoned off and there is no threat to the public Hesse Show.
