New Delhi. US President Donald Trump gave a big statement on the oil trade between India and Russia. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi targeted the Indian government regarding this statement of Trump, due to which famous American singer Mary Milben got angry at him. Mary Milben praised him on the social media platform X.
American Leo Mary Milben wrote on X, ‘You are wrong, Rahul Gandhi! Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not afraid of President Trump. Prime Minister Modi understands long-term thinking and his diplomacy with America is strategic. Just as the President will always keep America’s interests paramount, Prime Minister Modi will also do what is best for India. And I appreciate it. This is what heads of state do. They do and say only what is best for their country.”
She further said that I do not expect you to understand this kind of leadership, nor do I consider you worthy of becoming the Prime Minister of India. You better go back to your “I hate India” tour, the only audience for which is you.
Let us tell you, Rahul Gandhi said about President Trump’s statement, “Prime Minister Modi is scared of Trump. PM Modi allows Trump to take decisions and announce that India will not buy Russian oil. Despite repeated ignoring, keeps sending congratulatory messages. Canceled Finance Minister’s visit to America. Did not attend Sharm el-Sheikh. Does not oppose him on Operation Vermillion.”
US President Trump claimed that he has been assured that India will not buy oil from Russia. They understand that this cannot be done immediately. He said, “He (PM Modi) assured me today that he will not buy oil from Russia. It cannot be done immediately. It is a small process, but the process will be completed soon, and all we want from President Putin is to stop the war.”
He said, “In a short time, they will not buy oil from Russia and after the war ends they will trade oil from Russia again.” However, India’s Ministry of External Affairs rejected the US President’s claim and said, “Regarding America’s comment on the energy issue, we have already issued a statement, which you can see. As far as the telephone conversation is concerned, I can say that there has been no discussion between the Prime Minister and President Trump.”
