US President Donald Trump said that BRICS countries will be taxed because ‘this is an attack on the dollar.’ Accusing China of economic conspiracy, he said that America is self-sufficient in its soybean and cooking oil production.

US President Donald Trump once again targeted the BRICS group on Tuesday. During a meeting with Argentine President Javier Milei at the White House, Trump said that new tariffs will be imposed on BRICS countries because ‘BRICS is a direct attack on the dollar.’ He said, ‘I am very tough on the dollar. Whoever trades in dollars will benefit. But those who want to join BRICS are also fine. But we will tax them. Because BRICS is an attack on the dollar.
Trump’s attack on China
Trump also made a sharp attack on China. He said that China deliberately did not buy American soybeans and by buying from Argentina it was an attempt to weaken the relations between America and Argentina. He said, ‘China likes to create rifts. I think it’s natural, but ultimately it’s not going to make any sense. He wrote on the social media platform Truth Social, ‘This step of China is an economic attack against our farmers. We are considering ending the deal for cooking oil and other merchandise with China. America is capable of producing itself.
Trump attacked the media
This statement has come at a time when China has recently imposed new controls on the export of rare earth technologies, due to which the trade war between America and China has again flared up. During the press conference, Trump termed American media network ABC News as ‘fake news’ and said that now he will not take any questions from them. Also, he accused the Democrat Party of shutting down the government. ‘Democrats are stuck in the shutdown. We are going to stop many of their ‘socialist and semi-communist programs’.
