Israel Gaza War: Admiral Brad Cooper clarified after his visit to Gaza that American troops will not be deployed there. Global discussion continues on Trump’s Gaza peace plan. Witkoff will hold a rally in Tel Aviv.

Washington. The top American military commander, after visiting the Israeli army base, has clarified that there will be no deployment of American troops in the Gaza Strip. He clarified his point on X platform. US Central Command chief Admiral Brad Cooper said on Saturday that he visited Gaza to discuss the situation after the conflict and made it clear that no American troops would be deployed there.
Admiral Brad Cooper wrote on Twitter that he had just returned from a trip to Gaza to discuss the creation of a Central Command-led “civil-military coordination center” that would “assist in post-conflict stabilization.”
Even though Cooper has said there are no ‘American boots’ on Gaza soil, various US media houses have claimed that around 200 US troops have arrived in Israel to help in the return of hostages and monitoring the ceasefire situation as part of the peace plan. According to Israeli media, US Special Envoy for Middle East Affairs Witkoff will address a rally in the evening at Hostage Square in Tel Aviv.
Earlier, in one of its reports, Fox News had shown Witkoff and CENTCOM chief Admiral Brad Cooper visiting an Israeli army post. Take the IDF Chief with them. General Eyal Zamir was also there. The report claimed that the visit was to confirm that withdrawal had been agreed upon under the agreement with Hamas.
US President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace plan is being discussed all over the world. He claimed on Friday that there is “mostly consensus” on the next steps of the Gaza ceasefire plan, while acknowledging that “some details will be worked out.” In his statements and in various news media reports, Trump talked about the remaining hostages and said that Hamas was collecting them “right now.”
