Big accident in America! Explosions in Tennessee military factory created panic, many died, investigation continues

This explosion took place in a weapons manufacturing factory named Accurate Energetic Systems. This factory is located amidst the hills in Bucksnort area. In this factory, explosive materials are manufactured and tested in eight buildings. After the incident, many parts of the factory were turned into debris and there is an atmosphere of panic in the area.

One explosion after another, the rescue team kept watching from a distance
According to local officials, the explosion was so powerful that its echo was heard as far as Nashville city, 97 kilometers away. Humphrey County Sheriff Chris Davis said that “many people are missing, while some have been confirmed dead.” After the blast, many secondary blasts (second smaller explosions) continued to occur in the surrounding areas. Due to this the rescue workers could not go inside immediately. A Hickman County official said, “This is still a dangerous zone, we are taking every step carefully.”

The entire plant flew into the air
Aerial footage released by local TV channel WTVF-TV showed that a building on the factory hill was completely destroyed. The plumes of black smoke, burnt vehicles and scattered debris exposed the magnitude of this tragedy. The US Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) confirmed that many people were injured, but the number has not been released at this time.

It felt as if the house had collapsed… people said
People of nearby towns are in shock after the blast. Gentry Stover, a resident of the Lobelville area, said, “I felt my house collapse on me. After about half a minute I realized that it was an explosion in the factory.”
Another local legislator, Jodi Barrett, said the plant is one of the area’s major employment centers and the accident would also be an economic blow.

The reason still remains a mystery
Officials have not yet clarified how the explosion occurred.
Sheriff Davis said, “It may take several days for us to complete the investigation. We cannot send investigation teams in until the debris has cooled.” This factory is said to be connected to many projects of the US Defense Department. Now questions are being raised due to this. Was this accident just a technical mistake or something else?
