Donald Trump News: Donald Trump has vented his anger on China for not getting the Nobel Peace Prize. Yes, US President Donald Trump has imposed 100 percent tariff on China. Not only this, Donald Trump has also rejected the possibility of talks and meeting Chinese President Xi Jinping. Donald Trump made it clear that 100 percent tariff on Chinese products will be implemented from November 1, 2025.

Earlier, China had banned the export of rare earth minerals. Only after this Donald Trump took this decision. After the Chinese decision, US President Donald had warned that if China did not back down from its rare earth decision, America would impose ‘heavy tariffs’ on Chinese goods. After this Trump imposed 100 percent tariff. According to Trump, this step of China will only put the market and the whole world in trouble. He said that China will suffer the most loss due to this.

Trump imposed 100 percent tariff

Donald Trump said on Truth Social, ‘Given this unprecedented stance by China, the United States will impose 100 percent tariffs on China, which will be in addition to any tariffs China is currently imposing. This will come into effect from November 1. This comes immediately after Trump’s previous post, in which he had described China’s sanctions as extremely adverse. He said that China cannot be allowed to take the world ‘captive’ in any way.

Now Trump-Jinping will not meet

Donald Trump also raised questions about his plan to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in South Korea later this month. He said, ‘I was supposed to meet President Xi Jinping at the APEC summit in South Korea in two weeks, but I see no reason to do so now.’ He warned that these tariffs could be very heavy, which could rekindle a trade war between Washington and Beijing.

What decision has China taken?
Actually, China is the largest producer of rare earth minerals in the world. This is the same material which is very important for industries like electronics, defense and green energy. China has taken a new decision regarding this. According to the new rules of China, now ‘special approval’ will be necessary before the export of rare earth or any product made from it.
