Trump On China: Donald Trump attacked the ‘Rare Earth Minerals’ export ban, calling China ‘hostile’. Trump said that it is useless to meet Xi Jinping now.

Washington: US President Donald Trump frowned at China on Friday. He described Beijing’s imposition of export controls on Rare Earth Elements as a ‘sinister and hostile’ step. Trump warned that if China does not step back, America will impose ‘heavy tariffs’ on Chinese goods. Trump wrote in his Truth Social post, ‘Some very strange things are happening in China. He has become quite hostile now. It has sent letters to many countries that strict controls are being imposed on Rare Earth Export. The world has never seen anything like this. According to Trump, this step of China will only ‘clog’ the market and will put the whole world in trouble. He said that China will suffer the most loss due to this.
‘There is no reason to meet Xi Jinping now’
Trump clearly said that he no longer sees any reason to meet Xi Jinping. The meeting to be held at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit is now considered almost cancelled. Trump said, ‘These letters are extremely inappropriate. Maybe it’s time to clear things up. This will prove to be good for America in the long run.
He also said that China’s move was a ‘real surprise’ as relations were going ‘very well’ for the last six months. Trump wrote, ‘I always thought he was looking for an opportunity, and now I have been proven right again.’
