Moscow: US President Donald Trump has recently imposed sanctions on two big oil companies of Russia. The purpose of the sanctions imposed on oil companies Rosneft and Lukoil is to weaken Russia economically so that funding for the war with Ukraine is affected. These sanctions cannot force Russia to abandon its national interests and will harm the global economy. He further said that ‘there is no major obstacle in continuing the talks on the peace process, but this work should be done not through media leaks, but through diplomats’.

America’s Act Of War against Russia?

Apart from Maria, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has also reacted on this. According to Reuters, he declared the United States as a staunch adversary of Russia and said that ‘US President Donald Trump’s recent steps are tantamount to war against Russia’. He reminded how Trump had promised to end the Ukraine war but now he is fighting a ‘proxy war’. Dmitry has also expressed disappointment with President Vladimir Putin.
