America News: Ever since Donald Trump took power again in America, there are two issues on his target. First, a tit-for-tat stance on tariffs and a very strict stance against immigrants. A truck driver of Indian origin from California carried out a major incident. Three people died in this accident, while some others were also injured. The shocking thing is that the driver of Indian origin was driving the truck under the influence of drugs. This is a complete violation of American law. The accused truck driver has been identified as Jashnpreet Singh. Jashnapreet is a resident of Punjab. After this incident, the Trump government has once again got an opportunity to take a strict stance against migrants. The White House has expressed a sharp reaction to this incident. White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt said that Jashanpreet Singh is an undocumented immigrant, who was issued a commercial vehicle license by the California administration. In this way, the Trump government got another opportunity to take strict action regarding migrants. Jashnapreet is not the only migrant who has given Donald Trump a chance by violating the law. Even before this, similar incidents have come to light.

Before Jashnapreet Singh, another Indian origin driver had committed a major incident. This incident is related to Florida. A few weeks ago, driver Harjinder Singh was held responsible for a fatal road accident in Florida. Three people died in this accident. According to investigators, 28-year-old driver Harjinder Singh was living in America illegally. He tried to take a sudden U-turn on the Florida Turnpike. Meanwhile, his trailer slipped, turned and collided with a minivan, causing this horrific accident. This accident not only shocked the local community, but also gave rise to a political debate between the Donald Trump administration and California Governor Gavin Newsom. In fact, such incidents suit Donald Trump more, so that strictest action can be taken against illegal immigrants.

Negative impact in America

After the death of three people in an accident in America, truck drivers there say that the attitude of Americans towards them now seems to be turning negative. Some people of the community say that since then trolling on the internet has increased and Sikh drivers are being stopped more often at checking points. According to the report of news agency ‘AP’, Prabh Singh, a truck driver living in Riverside, California, said that it was the mistake of one driver, not of the entire community. On August 12, three people were killed in an accident involving a truck driven by a person named Harjinder Singh in Florida, America. After this the opinion regarding migrants had changed.

After Florida, now California

A horrific road accident occurred on Wednesday (22 October 2025) on the I-10 freeway in Ontario, California, USA. Indian citizen Jashanpreet Singh, resident of Punjab, was arrested in the accident. Local police said that Jashanpreet was driving the truck at high speed under the influence of drugs. After this the truck collided with several vehicles and three people died. According to the report, Jashnpreet was caught illegally entering the California border in March 2022 and was later released. He is currently in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has now imposed a detainer request on him.
