HAY started as a test token launched by Hayden Adams.
Positive news for Uniswap, usually benefiting this memecoin.
If haycoin (HAY) is not the rarest token in the world, it must be among the rarest at least. There are only 4.14 units of this memecoin in circulation. And, in the last 24 hours, its price multiplied by almost 10 times.
As seen in the following graph, HAY price went from 38,540 to almost 340,000 dollarsand then corrected to $95,000 at the time of this publication.

The reason behind this huge price rise is the introduction of UNIfication, an initiative that proposes to introduce a systematic burning mechanism to reduce the supply of uniswap (UNI) tokens.
The news of the Ethereum decentralized exchange (DEX) usually benefits HAY for a simple reason: The “father” of this token is Hayden Adams, the creator of Uniswap.
As CriptoNoticias has reported, in 2018, shortly before the launch of Uniswap, Hayden Adams created HAY as a test token and distributed a few of the 95 units between his wallet and those of his team.
Over time, HAY came to be considered a memecoin, driven by its extreme rarity (as the vast majority of units were burned) and its close relationship with the creator of Uniswap.
The most curious thing about this story is that a decentralized finance (DeFi) enthusiast known on social networks and internet forums as Cryptzy dedicated himself to researching in forums what the first token exchanged on Uniswap was and, on October 12, 2023, he discovered that it was haycoin. So HAY was “resurrected.”
