U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene announced Friday that she will leave her post in January.
He made the announcement on social media after a public spat with President Donald Trump.
Republicans and former MAGA loyalists have fallen from Trump’s grace, partly due to his pressure to secure the release of documents related to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
She said, “Standing up for American women who were raped, trafficked, and used by the rich and powerful at the age of 14 should not result in me being called a traitor and threatened by the President of the United States I fought for.”
The Congresswoman said her last day in office will be January 5 next year.
