Binance, the largest exchange in the world, enabled the function for users in Argentina to pay in stores in Brazil with bitcoin (BTC), USDT and other cryptocurrencies through Pix, the payment system of the country’s Central Bank.
Through Binance Pay, those traveling to Brazil will be able to choose between more than 100 cryptocurrencies and convert them into real instantly to complete your payments in seconds.

It should be noted that Pix It is the most used payment method in Brazil. Since its launch in 2020, more than 76% of the population uses it and nearly 6 billion transactions are made monthly, surpassing the use of debit cards and cash. Pix is accepted by shops, hotels, street vendors, tourism services, etc.
Guilherme Nazar, Binance Regional VP for Latin America, stood out that the integration represents a milestone because “it is the first time that Binance Pay is integrated into a national payment system in the world.”
In addition, he noted that the integration into Binance seeks to adapt the service to the needs of local users.
This integration responds to a specific demand. Brazil is one of the most developed markets in terms of digital payments and It is estimated that some 2.5 million Argentines traveled to Brazil between January and August 2025.
How to pay with Pix in Brazil?
1. On the home screen, tap the QR scanner button or use the QR payment widget (Pro mode) to scan the Pix QR code with your Binance app. The first time you use it you will have to accept the terms and conditions.
2. The payment details will appear. Choose the cryptocurrency and the account where you want to use it (Spot, Funds or Earn). Review everything and tap Confirm.
3. Enter your Binance Pay PIN or complete 2FA verification to validate the operation. The payment is confirmed instantly and you will be able to see the details in the app.
