The Bitcoin Office of the Government of El Salvador, together with bitcoin (BTC) writer and cartoonist, Lina Seiche, launched “The Classroom Project.” This is an initiative to renovate 500 classrooms in schools in the country and take students from values to financial knowledge.

Each classroom, like the first one presented, will be a no-shoes area. “Entering rooms with socks creates a subconscious feeling of slowing down and home, and teaches students respect, manners and cleanliness,” the project notes.
It will also have a library maintained by the students themselves. It presents works from sectors such as classics, fantasy, science fiction, philosophy, history, travel and children’s books.
