Division within AAP has increased after Raghav Chadha was removed from the post of Deputy Leader of the Upper House.
Infighting has erupted within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) following the removal of MP Raghav Chadha as deputy leader in the Upper House, according to local media, in what the party has called an internal realignment.
Amid signs of growing rift within the party, Chadha and other senior party leaders clashed over his removal and role within the party.

He said, “I am asking this question because AAP had asked the secretariat to stop Raghav Chadha from speaking in Parliament.”
Within the party, Chadha is accused of adopting a ‘soft’ stance against BJP.
Senior AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj posted a video on Facebook criticizing Chadha’s recent stand in Parliament. He accused Chadha of not asking questions to Prime Minister Narendra Modi or the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and not taking any stand on behalf of party leader Arvind Kejriwal.
Bhardwaj said, “We had to look the government in the eye and raise people’s issues.” He said Chadha’s “soft” stance does not hold the government accountable.
Chadha recently raised issues like paternity leave, passenger compensation for flight delays and worsening traffic situation in major cities of India in Parliament.
