US, Lebanon, Israel sign framework agreement
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has announced a trilateral framework agreement. Lebanese officials began direct negotiations with Israel in Washington in April.

Trump criticizes Iran for drone attack on cargo ship; US Army attacked Iran in retaliation
US President Donald Trump on his Truth social account accused Iran of attacking a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz with four drones.
“One of the drones struck the upper deck of a ship carrying a large and very expensive cargo,” Trump said, while three others were intercepted.
The US President said that the attack was a violation of the ongoing ceasefire between the US and Iran, as outlined in the US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding.
US CENTCOM announces new attack on Iran
In response, US CENTCOM announced new strikes on Iran.
“U.S. aircraft struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations and coastal radar sites after Iran launched a unilateral attack drone attack on the M/V Ever Lovely on June 25. The Singapore-flagged cargo ship was transiting the Strait of Hormuz along the Omani coast at the time of the Iranian attack,” Centcom said.
The Iranian attack on the cargo ship was first announced by the British maritime security agency UKMTO. The agency said the attack caused no casualties or environmental impacts.
It comes as a UN agency is coordinating the evacuation plan of 11,000 sailors stranded in the Gulf via the Strait of Hormuz.
The agency, the International Maritime Organization, halted plans after the attack.
Iran has said that if any country wants to pass through Hormuz, it will have to coordinate with Iranian authorities.
