Emmanuel Macron has just a few months left in office: the dates for the French presidential election have been made official. The first round is set to take place on April 18th, while the second – and final – one is set for May 2nd. Those dates coincide with a heavy holiday season, something that some candidates have already started criticizing – but the government has said those dates were chosen to comply with the French constitution.
