At least 18 people have been injured after two bombs exploded in the center of Damascus near the hotel where French President Emmanuel Macron is staying. This comes as Ahmed al-Sharaa is trying to convince the world that Syria is dealing with important security challenges, in a bid to attract foreign investment to rebuild the war-torn country.
