Ukraine awarded Britain’s Keir Starmer his “Order of Freedom” honor on July 19 as the outgoing prime minister made his final visit to the capital, Kyiv. Burnham will become leader of the ruling Labor party on July 17 before taking over as prime minister on July 20. He will be the UK’s fifth leader since Russia invaded its neighbors in February 2022.
