Who has the best social media team? Deichmann wants to find out in a new format. For this purpose, the Essen branchist organizes a new live gaming show: At “Beat the Brand”, teams of different brands are to prove themselves in “entertaining actions” to find out who deserves the title of “Social Media Number 1”. The trigger for the campaign is the regular competition among the brands, which are mainly carried out on the Tikok platform. With the new live format, these interactions are to be used in order to generate long-term target group-friendly content for social media communities. In front of over 300 spectators, six teams of five will assert themselves against each other in a 90-minute live event in a 90-minute live event and “make the Like buttons and comment columns glow”. The event is broadcast on social media platforms such as Tiktok, Instagram, YouTube and Twitch.

In addition to Deichmann, the Aldi Süd, Oreo, Condor, Glückspilz and classified ads were announced as participants. “We wanted to compete against brands that, like us, live. Who understand and entertain their communities that are obvious, funny and authentic, ”says Dennis Falk, Head of Social Media at Deichmann.
